I have really enjoyed the story line. My only complaint was that the object wasn't clear for a couple of the puzzles, but overall well done. Beautiful graphics and music. A small part of me is sad that the story is over. (or is it?). Good HOG with some more interactive stuff compared to the first two parts. I think it is shorter, but that might just be me getting stuck less. I also feel like there weren't as many locations/backgrounds and several of the ones we got are more plain?. Ok, in my opinion this is the weakest of the trilogy which is a shame because it's the last in the trilogy. Now that being said while the first 2 games were amazing, this is merely good, bordering on very good. I can't say this is the best HOG ever simply because of the 2 games that came before it. That said it's still very good. I had to click around this one more then the other games. Some of the puzzles and object locations just arn't intuitive as the others. I highly recommend buying this and the rest of the trilogy if your a fan of HOGS. I'd say this is the best HOG serries I've ever played. Solid Buy.. Had a good time playing it, good difficulty and it felt like there was a lot to do in the game.. Really upset with this game. I am basically stuck after 2 hours of gameplay and will have to replay the entire game again because I skipped a step a long the way. Went searching for a fix and appearently they promised a bug fix two years ago which hasn't occured yet. Do not buy.. This is the last of the Enigmatis series and the easiest of the lot. Needed the guide only once as I had forgotten to do something and couldn't advance. Graphics were better and the story was quite interesting. Video sometimes got stuck slightly. Only quibble is that Raphael is usually the messenger and Michael is the warrior.I wasn't enamoured with the main character, but liked her male sidekick Hamilton. The interactive start really threw you into the deep end and was quite clever. I bought this at the EOFY sales, so good value. Played 5 hours in mid setting in the main game. Still got the bonus chapter to complete. 8/10 from me.. The visuals can be adjusted in the game's menu option.Game AudioI want to mentioned that audio for the game is well done. Even though the audio is somewhat simplistic and repetitive. The audio can be adjusted in the game's option menu as well.GameplayThere are four different game difficulty modes to choose from: Casual; Advanced; Expert and Custom.The notebook keeps track of progression in the game. Such as story events and clues.There is an interactive map in the game. It allows the player to fast travel between each locations quickly without having the need to constantly backtracking. It also indicates that there are variety of tasks that can be completed at various locations within the game. The interactive map is not automatically given at the start of the game.There is no padlock feature that is available to lock the inventory panel in place. The inventory panel automatically comes stationary.There are some interactive items in the game. Some of these interactive items may require extra components before they can interact with. All interactive items are marked with a symbol in one of the corners.The hidden object scenes consists of the following: Find "x" amount; Fragmented items and Traditional word lists. Some of these hidden object scenes may require little or no interaction. Most of the hidden object scenes can be replayed in the game's extra feature section.The puzzles are fairly easy to solve without having the need to skip any of them. There are several ways to get the rest of the trading cards: Purchased from the Steam's Community Market; Trade with friends; Booster Packs and its' Booster Pack Creator.Final thoughts: I have found the game enjoyable to certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game but not at the game's full price value.. Enigmatis 3 takes us to a pretty unique place compared to the earlier games. The mountains of Himalaya. The intro and start of the game is pretty exciting, because so much happen in so little time. Just perfect!As usually the graphics and music are good, and the story is how it usually is, a bit predictable, but not boring. To make this review a bit shorter I am just gonna say that I feel that all though it's a well made game, with unique locations and an interesting story, I think some of the elements in the game are too easy. Not playwise, but plotwise, I feel the solution often is solved easier than it realisticly would have been, and to be honest, my character should have died around 4-5 times already before the game ends. The game was pretty entertaining though, and I'll guess this is just how the games are made.
